Mike Greenley


Mr. Greenley was appointed President of L-3 WESCAM in September 2016. Mr. Greenley has served as the Vice President and General Manager, CAE Canada, and has held the title of Vice President of Strategy and Development for GD Canada, and Vice President International for GD C4 Systems – now GD Mission Systems.  Mr. Greenley is an active Board Member of the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI). In 2012 he was elected Chair of the Board, a title which he still holds today. Additionally, Mr. Greenley has served as a Past-Chair of the Industry Advisory Board, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAIT) in Canada.  In 2016 Mr. Greenley was named Defence Executive of the Year by Canadian Defence Review.  Mr. Greenley holds a master’s degree in science from the University of Waterloo.

Mario Grande

Senior Vice President, Operations

Mr. Grande joined L-3 WESCAM in October of 2003 with over 21 years of progressive experience in the aerospace and commercial high-tech industries. Mr. Grande is responsible for Operations at the Burlington and Don Mills facilities where he helps formulate business strategies that will further strengthen L-3 WESCAM’s ability to deliver industry-leading products and services. Throughout his career, Mr. Grande has held a number of progressive senior level positions, leading engineering, manufacturing and program management organizations. Having worked for Smiths Industries, Leitch Technology and AlliedSignal Aerospace, Mr. Grande has a proven track record in optimizing operational performance and organizational competitiveness. Mr. Grande holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Paul Jennison

Vice President, Government Sales and New Business Development

Mr. Jennison joined L-3 WESCAM in August 1993 as a Program Manager, and held subsequent positions as General Manager, Product-line Manager, Director of Marketing, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, and most recently Vice President of Government Sales and Business Development. Mr. Jennison worked in telecommunications research at Plessey in the United Kingdom, and at Spar Aerospace in engineering, R&D, program management and business development. Since joining WESCAM, Mr. Jennison has held progressively responsible positions in operations and sales, and has been accountable for L-3 WESCAM’s significant sales growth. In this role, he is responsible for identifying, planning and capturing long-term, non-current business opportunities. Paul is an accomplished executive with a management background in engineering, technology, product development, marketing and an extensive understanding of the industry and the market. Mr. Jennison has a BSc in Physics and Advanced Mathematics, and a MSc in Applied and Modern Optics, both from Reading University in England.

Pat McKay

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, L-3 WESCAM and L-3 Canada

Ms. McKay joined WESCAM in 2004. With over 35 years of experience, Ms. McKay has held a number of senior level positions leading Finance and Administration functions in various companies such as Copperweld Canada Inc., BTR Sealing Systems, Zenon Environmental and Tridon Limited. She is currently responsible for Finance, Contracts and Information Technology and provides overall direction for Accounting, Tax, Budget, Compliance and Treasury. Ms. McKay has an Honours Degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario and has obtained her Certified Public Accountants designation (CPA CA).

Bruce Latimer

Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Mr. Latimer joined WESCAM in 1996, and held the positions of Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Corporate Development, General Counsel and Secretary, and Chief Security Officer. With Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt, Mr. Latimer participated in international mergers and acquisitions and public offerings. As President of his own business, he specialized in feasibility studies, business plans for new ventures, and computer-based decision support systems. With CAE, he designed and implemented real-time control software. Mr. Latimer has a broad background in engineering, business and law, with a record of accomplishment in managing start-ups and turn-around operations in multi-plant cross-border organizations. Mr. Latimer is a Professional Engineer with a BSc (Engineering and Math) and MSc (Engineering) from Queen’s University, and holds an L.L.B. from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business. He was awarded the gold medal for academic performance while completing his L.L.B./MBA degrees.

Duane Heslinga

Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Heslinga joined L3 WESCAM in January 1994. During this time Mr. Heslinga has held various roles of increasing responsibility within WESCAM’s Engineering department, including electrical/electronic designer, project manager, manager of new product development and most recently, Vice President, Engineering.  As a key contributor L3 WESCAM’s growth strategy, Mr. Heslinga formalized and implemented a highly-successful New Product Introduction (NPI) process – incorporating both lean and agile principles. In December 2016, Mr. Heslinga was promoted to Vice President, Engineering responsible for all design engineering functions at L3 WESCAM. Mr. Heslinga holds a B.A.Sc. Electrical Engineering (Honours) from the University of Windsor, Ontario

Rod Till

Vice President, Customer Service

Mr. Till was appointed Vice President of Customer Service in August 2010. Responsible for all Customer Service and support functions from the Burlington and Sonoma facilities, including training, publications and installation support, Mr. Till’s main focus is to define, grow and manage the Customer Service business for the our Government Systems Group. With the continuous development and penetration of the Government market and the accompanying expansion of our customer base, Customer Service is recognized as a major growth area and key to maintaining customer satisfaction levels at L-3 WESCAM. Mr. Till has held continuously progressive positions throughout his career where he performed new business activities, program management, product development, deployment and follow on support of complex Air Traffic Control, Air Navigation and Communications Systems. Prior to working for L-3 WESCAM, Mr. Till held the position of Director, Engineering Operations / New Business Development Manager at Raytheon Systems Company / Hughes Aircraft of Canada in Richmond, British Columbia.

Roman Turchyn

Vice President, Human Resources

Mr. Turchyn joined WESCAM in 1996 as Vice-President of Human Resources and an Officer of the company. Mr. Turchyn has 35 years of experience with both Canadian and international companies in manufacturing, high-technology, aerospace, and defense sectors. Mr. Turchyn has worked with Sperry Corporation, Unisys, and Data General. His specialties are in organizational development, executive search, incentive compensation, labor relations, management development, strategic planning, and negotiating skills. Roman has a BA in Social Sciences from McMaster University and a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and SHRM designation. Roman has served on the board of directors for the Burlington Economic Development Corporation for six years.

Steve Tritchew

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Tritchew joined WESCAM in 1994. In his current role, Mr. Tritchew is responsible for internal technology and product development. Mr. Tritchew has worked in the aerospace and telecommunications industries since 1983, and prior to joining WESCAM he held several positions at Spar Aerospace including R&D Manager. Mr. Tritchew also spent several years in the development and production of fiber optic components and test instrumentation at Northern Telecom and Antel Optronics. Mr. Tritchew has a Master of Applied Physics degree from Caltech and a BS in Engineering from McMaster University.
