Dehne, President |
John
was appointed President of L-3 WESCAM in
November 2003. With over 25 years experience
in the defence industry, John brings many
years of executive and technical management
experience to L-3 WESCAM. John has been
President of Lockheed Martin IR and Imaging
Systems, President of Loral IR and Imaging
Systems, Vice President and GM of Honeywell's
Electro-Optics division and Vice President
of Honeywell's Systems and Research Center.
his most recent position was President
and CEO of Kollsman Inc. Previously, John
spent thirteen years as a civilian employee
with the US Army, in technical management
at the US Army Night Vision and in the
Combat Surveillance Target Acquisition
Lab. John has a BSc degree in Physics for
the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
in Cambridge, and MSc degree in Physics
from Fairleigh Dickinson University and
MSc degree in Computer Information and
Control Engineering from the University
of Michigan.

| Allan
Bignell, Vice President and GM, Burlington
and Don Mills locations |

Allan joined Wescam
in June 2002 as Vice President of Marketing
and Sales in the Government Systems
division. Allan has been a senior executive
at CAE Inc., holding several Vice Presidential
positions in technology, e-solutions
and business development. In addition,
he has held various management positions
in marketing and sales management,
product management and product development
at SCIEX and Westinghouse. Allan earned
his PhD in electrical engineering from
McMaster University. He has authored
several patents and numerous publications.
He is a member of the Association of
Professional Engineers of Ontario,
the Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers, and recently served on the
board of directors for the Canadian
Advanced Technology Association. |
| Mario
Grande, Vice President Operations, Burlington
and Don Mills locations |
| Mario
joined L-3 WESCAM in October of 2003 with
over 21 years of progressive experience
in the aerospace and commercial hi-tech
industries. Mario is responsible for Operations
at the Burlington and Don Mills sites where
he will help formulate business strategies
that will further strengthen L-3 WESCAM’s
ability to deliver competitive quality
products and services to our customers.
Throughout his career, Mario has held a
number of progressive senior level positions
leading engineering, manufacturing and
program management organizations. Having
worked for Smiths Industries, Leitch Technology
and AlliedSignal Aerospace, Mario has a
proven track record in dramatic improvement
in Operational performance and organizational
competitiveness. Mario holds a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Toronto. |
| Paul
Jennison, Vice President, Government
Sales and Business Development |
| Paul
Jennison joined L-3 WESCAM in August 1993
as Program Manager, and held subsequent
positions as General Manager, Product-line
Manager, Director of Marketing, Vice President,
Sales and Marketing, Vice President, Marketing
and Business Development, and most recently
Vice President, Government Sales and Business
Development. Paul worked in telecommunications
research at Plessey in the United Kingdom,
and at Spar Aerospace in engineering, R&D,
program management and business development.
Since joining Wescam, Paul has held progressively
responsible positions in operations and
sales, and has been accountable for L-3
WESCAM's significant sales growth. In this
role, he is responsible to identify, plan
and capture long-term non-current business
opportunities. Paul is an accomplished
executive with a management background
in engineering, technology, product development
and marketing. He has also developed an
extensive understanding of the industry
and the market. He has a B.Sc. in Physics
and Advanced Mathematics, and an M.Sc.
in Applied and Modern Optics, both from
Reading University in England. |
| Peter
Larsson – General Manager, Broadcast
Sports |
| As
the market leader in supplying wireless
on-board camera systems for live television,
Peter has filled a specific niche in the
marketplace. Over the past 20 years Peter
has led Broadcast Sports to design and
build technology that has changed the way
television is viewed. Having supplied the
major auto racing series with on-board
camera coverage, Peter and his group of
engineers constantly redesign their systems
as new technology becomes available. Credits
include: NASCAR, CART, IRL, America’s
Cup and NHRA. With award-winning camera
and microwave transmission services, Peter’s
provided turnkey solutions to guarantee
successful event coverage. |
| Bruce
R. Latimer, Vice President, Corporate
Development & Corporate Secretary |
| Bruce
Latimer joined Wescam in 1996, and held
the positions of Vice President, Operations,
Vice President, Corporate Development,
General Counsel and Secretary, and Chief
Security Officer. With Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt,
Bruce participated in international mergers
and acquisitions and public offerings.
As President of his own business, he specialized
in feasibility studies, business plans
for new ventures, and computer-based decision
support systems. With CAE, he designed
and implemented real time control software.
Bruce has a broad background in engineering,
business and law, with a record of accomplishment
in managing start ups and turn-around situations
in multiplant cross-border situations.
He is a Professional Engineer with a B.Sc.
(Eng. and Math) and M.Sc. (Eng.) from Queen's
University, and holds an L.L.B. from the
University of Western Ontario and an M.B.A.
from the Ivey School of Business. He was
awarded the gold medal for academic performance
while completing his L.L.B./M.B.A. degrees |
| Lewis
W. Park, Chief Financial Officer |
| Lewis
joined L-3 WESCAM in June of 2003 with
over 19 years of experience in the field
of finance and management. Lewis has 15
years experience in the defense industry
with three major US Corporations, Ford
Aerospace, Loral and Lockheed Martin and
2 years managing the successful turnaround
and divestiture of a commercial business.
Most recently, Lewis worked as Executive
Director of Finance at Centerpoint Broadband
Technologies, an optical networking start-up.
At Centerpoint, Lewis successfully developed
and executed all accounting, financial
management and strategic planning activities.
Lewis has a Master of Business Administration,
concentration in Finance, from Santa Clara
University and a Bachelor of Science, Accounting
from San Jose State University. |
| Rod
Till – Director, Customer Service |
| Rod
was appointed Director of Customer Service
in February 2001. With the continuous development
and penetration of the Government market
and the accompanying expansion of our customer
base, Customer Service is recognized as
a major growth area and key to maintaining
customer satisfaction levels at L-3 WESCAM.
Responsible for all Customer Service and
support functions in Burlington and Healdsburg,
including Training, Publications and Installation
Support, Rod’s main focus is to define,
grow and manage the Customer Service business
for the our Government Systems Group. Rod
has held continuously progressive positions
throughout his career where he performed
new business activities, program management,
product development, deployment and follow
on support of complex Air Traffic Control,
Air Navigation and Communications Systems.
Prior to working for L-3 WESCAM, Rod held
the position of Director, Engineering Operations
/ New Business Development Manager at Raytheon
Systems Company / Hughes Aircraft of Canada
in Richmond, British Columbia. |
| Steve
Tritchew, Chief Technology Officer |
| Steve
joined Wescam in 1994. He has worked in
the aerospace and telecommunications industries
since 1983. Prior to joining Wescam, Steve
held several positions at Spar Aerospace
including R&D Manager. He also spent
several years in the development and production
of fiber optic components and test instrumentation
at Northern Telecom and Antel Optronics.
Steve has a Master of Applied Physics degree
from Caltech and a Bachelor of Engineering
Degree from McMaster University. |
| Roman
M. Turchyn, Corporate Vice President,
Human Resources |

Roman joined Wescam
in 1996 as Corporate Vice-President,
Human Resources and an Officer of the
company. He has 25 years of experience
with both Canadian and international
companies in manufacturing and high-technology
sectors. Roman has worked with Sperry
Computer Systems, Unisys, and Data
General. He has specialized in organizational
development, executive search, incentive
compensation, labor relations, management
development, strategic planning, and
negotiating skills. Roman has a B.A.
in Social Sciences from McMaster University
and a Certified Human Resources Professional
(CHRP) and SHRM designation. Roman
currently serves on the board of directors
for the Burlington Economic Development
Corporation. |
